Twelve years ago marked the start of the Eros Project - an endeavor to genetically alter human beings into mindless, emotionless drones. The ultimate objective was to create an army of these beings, trained to be warriors, skilled laborers, and personal companions (whichever is called for at any given moment). The project used orphans - primarily infants - as its test subjects. The specimens were biologically altered to speed physical and mental development to a certain ideal point. Two years later, what would become the first successful prototype was born.

Three years ago, EROS1315028 was awakened, any memories of his prior life completely erased. He was programmed to believe he is a synthetic creation, made to serve his creators, unaware even as to how old he is. Over the course of the next three years, he was put through grueling training to hone his enhanced muscles and develop various skills he was already programmed to know how to perform.

Shortly before he opened his eyes, he believed he heard a voice whispering to him the name Raza Apollo. He has no idea what it means, but he took the name as his own and now refers to himself as such. As time went on, he began to experience strange sensations - a tightening in his chest when something bad happened, a fluttering in his stomach when something good happened. These feelings grew increasingly stronger and more distinct, and from these emotions Raze began to develop a sense of self. Little by little he started composing his own rational thoughts, enough that he was able to form opinions concerning his situation, his creators, and the orders he is given from day to day. He even began to dream, and he wasn't programmed to do that either.

Slowly he came to the realization that he wanted to be free, and so began plotting escape. Each attempt thus far has met with failure, however, though at least after he killed a few of the clients he was supposed to entertain for an evening or so, he got left alone more and more. Currently he spends his days locked in a cell set up as a reasonably comfortable bedroom, only taken out to be tested and experimented upon. His sole link to the outside world is a laptop he is allowed to keep.

Raza's personality is sketchy. He wasn't programmed to feel emotions, to think on his own, or to have a free will. But since emotions are developing (or returning) nonetheless, the latter two following naturally, he is still getting used to having them at all. It's a struggle at times to remember that he has a mind of his own. Often he will come off cold and rigid, and what sense of humor he has is dark. However, if he gets the chance and the time needed to open up to someone, he is actually kind and compassionate. He is fiercely loyal to and protective of those he cares about, to the point that he sometimes needs to be reminded not to follow them around like an affectionate puppy.

He has a deep passion for music, especially of the orchestral variety, and it shows in his huge collection of music files on his laptop. He aspires to one day learn to play the piano. Though he is mentally developed, he was never programmed with an education beyond basic calculus (he can operate as a living calculator) and the capacity to read, write, and speak English, Italian, and Greek, as this was considered a valuable asset when acting as a personal companion. Naturally diligent and persistent, Raza determined to teach himself as much as possible, primarily via the Internet. He can still seem childish in his curiosity now and then, due to how little he knows about most subjects, such as the sciences, history, religion, politics, geography, etc.

Dark blue hair falls nearly to his waist, straight and slightly layered. His eyes are bright, shimmery blue with no pupils. If he were to get out in the real world, he'd constantly wear custom contacts. He has a slender build, muscular from his training but far from bulky, and stands tall around 6'2". His right shoulder has a large ring tattoo around it, with a symbol at the middle - his programmer's signature. The back of his neck is inscribed with his number. His fingertips are constantly scarred and scabbed from the use of his power (see below).

In addition to enhanced physical strength, Raza's primary power was built into him. It was at this stage that many former test subjects died. An entirely new bodily system was fused together inside him, made to grow with him as he grew. It allows for normally harmful energy to circulate through his body. This energy is bright blue in hue, and is responsible for the color and nature of his eyes and hair.

The outlets for this energy are at the tip of each finger, and he is able to release it at will. The spiritual basis of his power, however, is his ability to control it once it leaves his body, allowing him to direct its aim and mold its shape. The only flaw is that, though while inside him the energy doesn't hurt him, it still burns his skin, hence the scabs on his fingers. Each finger works as a sort of plasma gun, and if he uses this ability for too long without pause or forces out too much energy at once, he will become extremely exhausted, possibly to the point of passing out. He requires food and sleep to recharge himself.
